Conor could have still dropped LW's

As a HUGE Nate/Nick Diaz fan I will be the first to say that some of those shots McGregor threw in the fight could have still dropped a lot of LW's and of course most FW's. I still respect the mans fighting ability, unfortunately he's somewhat one dimensional and literally has no sub defense. Glad Diaz put him in his place, but I still see bright things in McGregors future at his correct weight.

Nick and Nate are not slick with their defense as some have said. It's evident by the cuts and bruises. It's just a fact that they have chins/heads on the highest level. Conor had all the tools to score and avoid, but his style for several fights has been to taunt, hunt, and act as the bigger man, which he has been. But you simply have to have a plan B and C. He probably thought that he may not end it with one left, but a no camp Diaz would fold from a combination of exhaustion and damage from a number of those lefts. I think Conor is better on the ground than he showed and maybe..(maybe) enough to get back to his feet, but not when he was already rocked, tired, and at that point had to know it was not his night..especially with someone like Nate on top of him. When your brain is rattled, the little bit of ground game he has was surely going to abandon him.

He'll want to scrub this loss away in a few years by challenging Diaz to a rematch, and i hope Diaz never gives it to him.
