Had them around =/= Needed. Nobody rolls up on Artem thinking they NEED anyone else around. Khabib didn't like what Artem said and told him so... in not a very rough fashion either (my coworker speaks Russian). Bail is just so he shows up to court, not a punishment folks. Since he's a high profile celebrity it's unlikely he will be able to hide anywhere, therefore high bail is not needed. His lawyers also probably argued that since his profession resides mostly in US that he will definitely come back if called upon regardless.

A little surprised they are letting him leave the country, but that's what good lawyering buys ya.

Not sure you can attribute that to good lawyering.

Any judge should be able to see that a foreign national with extensive financial resources is a risk to leave the country and never return.

That is how I saw it too. Kabib did not need those guys, they were just with him when he saw Artem.

Khabib actually showed restraint, Artem started crap with him.
