But honestly, it's not that McGregor is avoiding Khabib. He could have easily avoided Khabib by taking a different fight. He;s not taking any fights because he retired.

You think? I don't.

I think if McGregor is interested in fighting, Khabib is one of the more likely candidates of fighters he would want to face. Not because he is a great match up or any of that. because Khabib-Mcgregor could be huge, and McGregor wants huge fights. Conor's short list of fights he might want to take probably consists of Nate, Khabib, GSP, and Woodley. He'd be a favorite in only one of those fights, and that's the guy who embarrassed him and then fought him tooth and nail in the rematch.

The idea that McGregor only wants easy fights simply doesn't hold up to scrutiny.
