Pardon the hyperbole in the subject line, but I wonder to what extent the UFC forced Conor's hand...due to Nate being smart...

The rematch is going to happen in large part due to Nate demanding a PAYCHECK.

...and regarding $$$, how does a fat paycheck happen...by fighting Conor again of course.

Nate (knowing that he could use his leverage from beating him the first time) refused to fight anyone else while Conor was MIA, as he knew that Conor wasn't actually retiring or fighting Floyd, etc. He knew that Conor straight up wanted no part of a rematch...

...but a rematch now looms, hence the second "loss" by Conor.

Nate wins round 2

Oh, and in terms of the build up...Nate is about to win round 3 because there is no way Conor can talk shit without making an utter fool of himself.

Onward to the actual rematch in the cage...

Goodnight once again Conor.

Ahhh Yeah! No doubt Conor will lose again...Evenhisfansknowthat!!!

How many more of these hate threads can we expect today? I've seen 3 or 4 already.

It's the perfect fight from the ufc's point of view. It will sell well as there's already lots of hype behind it, if Nate wins 'again he makes himself even more marketable to the casuals and it takes away a lot of Conor's bargaining power, if Conor wins they can hype the shit out of him again.

Let's just hope that after all this is finally over we see Conor defend his belt.

That's weird cause if you look at their respected records they only fought once???

Well all I can say to you is that you had better pray to whomever your chosen deity is because when Conor wins the rematch there will be a lot of tumbleweeds blowing around your account for the forseeable future.

Considering how it's relatively tame compared to when Conor-mania was running rampant over these forums, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks it's better this way rather than how it was not that long ago.

I'm also glad the "hate threads" aren't that great in number at all, certainly far and away from the number of "love threads" there used to be
