I watched WEC regularly growing up and caught UFC on spike when it was there. I wasn't hardcore, or dedicated by any means, but when McGregor entered the UFC (after I stopped competed in college am. football) I really became passionate about the sport in total. Now I catch every fight and have rewatched every event in the last 10 years, joined an MMA gym, and have my second fight next month. THANKS MCGREGOR!

5 years. Started watching out of curiosity, to see how Brawk would fare against legitimate martial artists, and fell in love with the sport as soon as I saw Frank Mir submit him with the voodoo spider shit (that's what I thought jiujitsu was, back then).

Machida, Fedor, and Anderson Silva cemented me as a fan of the sport.

I had watched a few episodes of TUF here and there before that, but I don't think that really counts. His UFC debut was on one of the first cards I watched, he impressed me so I checked out some YT videos of his previous fights and became a fan.
