Far weaker division and yet he lost to a guy who couldn't hang in said division. There is no MW who even comes close to Anderson. Age is a bitch. If Weidman's fighting at 40 the same will happen to him. At least Anderson was able win while he was still in his prime.

This fight showed me that Silva is a bit slow on the draw and gets caught easier since hes been 40ish. I felt that it doesnt say much about prime Anderson, but diminishes, combined with the Chael fights, Weidmans Ws over an aging jackass.

Combine it with his tough fight with Machida and getting smashed by Cockhard and Weidman looks like a damned awesome fighter with two pretty good scalps against aging greats. In fact, Cockhard probably has more claim to greatness by beating Machida and Weidman so severely.
