Khabib is getting a shot at the LW title by fighting the FW champion at LW on 6 days notice because the LW "interim-champion" pulled out of the match?

What in the hell is going on?

Not really, he had pretty much cleaned out the division and was set up with a "superfight" that not a lot of champs take. He did lose to Diaz but it was because he didn't back out when Dos Anjos pulled out so he was "rewarded" for keeping the UFC in the black. Where was Khabib when the first fight was scheduled? I don't remember.

"Interim" is a joke thing anyway
Problem is having the actual belt owner not willing to fight, while for marketing/$$$ crap you had been hesitant to strip it from him

Not really but nothing makes sense in new UFC. Champs dont fight 3x a year #1s like they used to. Some dont fight at all. Like Conor.

Khabib fighting for the title makes sense, Max doesn't. But what else can you do. UFC is a shitfest. The "champ" has been ducking a defense for a year even after the May-Mac fight was over.

None of this would be happening if the LW "champ" defended his title. But all of this is happening and he is the reason why. Not Tony, not Khabib, not Max, but Conor.
