Will they still do a Conor vs Diaz 2 rematch but just on another card?
 
They'll probably do Conor vs winner of Aldo/Edgar. Could see a small chance that they'll do Diaz vs Mcgregor for UFC 201 while the winner of UFC 200 heals.
 
No. Conor is facing the winner of Aldo/Edgar.

Facing one of them was the only thing that made sense anyway.

Sure. I wonder if they do it late summer so Conor has time to defend against Frankie at MSG.
 
People say nate played this well too, I don't think he did, as dana said in the presser conor will fight the winner of frankie and aldo. So surely nate should have taken another fight to keep himself in the picture. He could have told dana he wants the same deal as he was getting for mcgregor.

I don't think conor wants the nae fight anymore and is looking for someone he can beat.

Nobody knows for sure.
My guess is yes
Both Diaz & Conor want it & UFC will have 2 back to back big PPV's

If there is any delay then I think Conor waits for winner of 200
 
I say there is a possibility when they are both over the hill and Conor is hurting for scratch.
 
Conor will have to check into rehab first...Then we will see.

Feels for Nate on this one. He's the big loser in my opinion. All that money lost (for now) plus a chance to beat the GOAT again.
 
It's bad news for Conor losing out on a rematch with Diaz imo. He has that very slight cushion of keeping his reputation intact if he loses to Diaz back-to-back. It's not all that uncommon that Diaz could just be McGregor Kryptonite, but lose back-to-back against two different fighters? he's fucked if that happens.

Tough to say. Nobody really knows yet, regardless of whatever nonsense Dana might say right now. Conor is a superstar and will sell more tickets on his return then he would have if this didn't happen. They will probably want to match him with whoever will be able to carry the PPV's numbers to the highest level. That will probably be Nate.
 
I think so, yes. Conor will defend at 145 first but I see him going up to 155 sooner rather than later. I expect the rematch will happen then. Still a huge payday down the road for the UFC.
 
I thought Dana said Conor could potentially fight as early as 201? If that's the case it almost has to be Diaz, because Aldo or Edgar needs some time after 200
