I've never wanted to see a fighter take a loss as much as Mcgregor. If you're a detractor, Conor is a man you love to hate. He's arrogant, brash and leaves you with a bitter taste in your mouth after each victory. He also operates with an evocative persona that yearns for observation. Tonight we share our disappointment in the shortcomings of a brilliant spectacle, but also elation stemming from the defeat of one of the finest men to ever grace our sport. A good showman will coax his audience into a state of heightened emotion. A good fighter will validate those emotions through successful combat; It takes a special individual to do both...

Tip of the cap, Conor, you just made a new fan.

The Conor that was at the post fight press conference is the Conor I have always talked about, when he first came to the UFC is was funny. goofy, just a fun guy then he turns into a media monster. He is a legit fighter and with that Humble attitude who knows I might jump right on his bandwagon but not until that media monster has a silver bullet in him.

I feel the same way about McG as I did about Ronda. I wanted them to lose because they were super arrogant and disrespectful, but now that they've lost I feel bad for them because they were on top of the world and now that's gone

McG is still champ, but he's definitely lost his mystique

Conor gave up sooo quick. He showed he was all talk, little heart. How many blows in Full mount did a gassing Weidman take? Conor took one shot, flipped to his back and had his tap hand ready. Quit the shit like he put on some kind of admirable performance.

I haven't been that excited for a main event in quite some time. After Conor's defeat, it dawned on me that we ought to be greatful for his participation in the sport. It will be difficult for another to supersede his antics and draw my ire in the same way, again...

For me Conor will always be the happy kid that got 60gees baby!

The rest is mostly a circus act
