Intel already dropped the i9 Line:
Intel reveals its new 18-core, 36-thread “extreme” Core i9 processor at Computex

NVIDIA has already debuted the MAX Q:

Asus and its ROG exhibition was part of the NVIDIA announcement:

Asus also partnered with NVIDIA to introduce its new Zephyrus laptop which is the thinnest GTX 1080-carrying laptop in existence. This is the first "Max Q" laptop:

Noctua is releasing a new fan, the A series. They're claiming one A series fan on a NH-U12S performs better than 2 NF-12's. MSRP of $30. Only 120mm versions have been shown so far.

i gotta be honest, ever since i built my pc last summer my interest on the lastest pc tech has dropped alot

It's so nice, I had to post it twice. It was at Corsair's booth

EKWB is releasing aluminum custom loop kits at very, very reasonable prices. They include everything you need to set up a custom loop, all you'd need is to add color dye if you want a colored fluid.
EKWB is offering the Fluid Gaming series in three different kits. You can pick up the EK Fluid Gaming A120 kit, which features a 120mm radiator and CPU block for $149, or the EK Fluid Gaming A240 kit, which offers a radiator twice the size for $10 more.
EKWB also revealed the EK Fluid Gaming A240G, which includes a universal GeForce GTX 10-series full-cover GPU block that fits all Founder’s Edition 10-series cards, including the Titan X Pascal and the Titan Xp
The A240G comes in at $249. That's insanely cheap. They even include a pump/reservoir combo!

Bitfenix Enso with a MSRP of $79. I can see this becoming a hot seller. It's tempered glass, has rgb, magnetic dust filters, 240mm radiator mount, ssd caddy on the back, and a psu cover.

Holy shit there's a lot of candy in this one

@Blayt7hh Depends on if it's a push or pull. I don't see any outlet holes so I'm assuming it's a puller.

That case looks awesome!

That Zephyrus laptop has turned out to be a bigger star than I anticipated when it was first unveiled, but it makes sense. I watched the full keynote, and it is impressive when you look at it from the perspective that it's a portable gaming console 60% more powerful than the PS4 with the 1080p screen already included (just an incredibly pricey portable console). The Acer Predator Triton 700 can be counted alongside it.

For me, another major winner was the Corsair Zeus with the Qi Wireless Charging mousepad:

I also think they hit it out of the park with their case exhibition. The Corsair Slate looks like an awesome addition to the Full ATX luxury class of cases:

Cooler Master also had some of the most gorgeous of all cases with the new Cooler Master Master Case H500P and Cooler Master Cosmos C700P:

Zotac put out some tiny 1080 Ti cards for those enthusiasts wanting to cram an industry-leading performance build in a cramped space such as an Mini ITX or HTPC case might offer:

I love how Gamers Nexus and the rest of the tech blogosphere brought MSI to its knees with pre-event coverage that set up a confrontation forcing MSI to address the criticism at the event itself. Bravo. Well done, Steve:

The new pricing structure makes it seem pretty clear that the i7-7800X is well positioned to become Intel's new crowning CPU for gaming replacing the quad core dominance of the i7 line going back so many generations culminating currently in the i7-7700K. I must say the i7-7740X is as aggressively clocked as we've ever seen a CPU, and considering the records that it's breaking, it might maintain dominance in the quad core realm.

Ars Technica issued these reservations with regard to the Intel release:
Intel claims 30% performance boost for 8th generation processors
That's a huge generational improvement, but of course, there are footnotes to consider. The 30 percent boost came in one benchmark—SYSmark 2014 version 1.5—and applies to 15W U-series mobile processors. The comparison pits an i7-7500U (2.7GHz base, 3.5GHz turbo) with two cores and four threads against an unnamed next generation chip. The new chip has an unspecified base clockspeed, a 4GHz turbo, and doubles the number of cores and threads to four and eight. The 8th generation chip is built on a refined iteration of Intel's 14nm process.

Any further details on the new architecture, codenamed Coffee Lake, are not forthcoming. The chips are still scheduled for release some time in the second half of the year.
8th Generation sees "30% improvement"...
  • Quad vs. Dual core
  • 4.0 GHz vs. 3.5 GHz Turbo Frequency

Figured any in here would appreciate the above links if you want a "Cliff Notes" with different opinions of the best the show had to offer. Anchored by NVIDIA's Max-Q technology, these products dominated this year's show, and made its theme (thin) enthusiast-performance gaming laptops:
  • Acer Predator Triton 700
  • Asus ROG Zephyrus*
  • Asus ROG Strix GL702ZC
  • Clevo P950HR
  • Gigabyte Aorus X9
  • Gigabyte Aorus X5 MD
  • MSI GT75VR Titan

With the pump/reservoir combo are you good to go? It seems like whenever I try the "Custom Loop Configurator" over at EKWB I end up with an ultimate expenditure of like a thousand freaking dollars on the full system just for the CPU.
