It's an awesome fight, and I agree with you that UFC's policy of smashing their prospects against one another is moronic.
 
How can you list Ciryl Gane in a "Comprehensive 2022 Prospects" list the guy is the interim HW champion. He is way past prospect?

Also, you listed so many irrelevant fighters, this reads like a wishlist of your favorite fighters.

yeah...its just not fair is it...look at st denis...got former top 10 guy as his first fight...on a super short notice...

O'Malley is getting Paiva who is a natural FLW and who was a gigantic underdog in his last fight....after getting can after can....

I forget if it was on "Co-Main Event" or "Heavy Hands" podcast, but they had a good analogy for UFC's matchmaking - that they smash their prospects against one another like a toddler smashing his superhero action figures into each other, until pieces come flying off.

I don't buy the whole interim belt. That's a made up shit for bottom line. I didn't think that was justified at all for that.

He's only 10-0. He's been in MMA only for a few years.

I consider him kinda prospect-ish still, but I know most won't.

So how could Vadim Nemkov and Yaroslav Amosov be considered prospects after winning the undisputed title in their respective divisions for the minor league promotion?

I think you need to read up on what "prospect" and "contender" mean.

Because it's Bellator.

And Nemkov is only 14-2.

Like I said, I put * down next to guys who people might not be happy that I put down as prospects. You can ignore it if you want.
 
I really wanna see Amosov in UFC. In my opinion, the best fighter in Bellator. I think Nemkov is second best.

LW is deeper, but the top 5 prospects over at FW is the best in all of MMA I think and it's not really close.

Yeah I think this is best top 5 per division. I know Mckee hype is in full bulloom, but the rest of the guys are undefeated too, well Allen has one loss but fighting tougher competition.

Islam Omarov and Timur Khizriev are probably better prospects than Allen and Bryce.

Salahdine Parnasse is another super FW prospect.

Oh yeah, PArnassse is that hyped prospect who lost in a huge upset hey, I guess they are making a rematch after giving him a win for his confidence I see.

I haven't watched any of them, so I can't comment on that.

But it's like when someone says X player was better than Messi that I haven't watched, if he's better than Messi, he must be amazing.

Obviously not on a same level, haha.

Allen and Bryce are very good. If they are better than those two, they must be future champ material, but like I said, I can't say.

Here's Islam Omarov against Albert Tumenov's cousin Bibert (who's also an incredible prospect).

 
Why should we punch whoever matched up Evloev and Topuria in the nuts? Who are you Bob Arum? This isn't boxing, and it's not like their paths can't cross again down the line if need be.

welp I was watching a bit, they do look pretty good.

I thought I was watching the guy and thinking hey the other guy looks better maybe, but then that other guy was the guy you were talking about lol

but that guy is going to be a problem.

Definitely not an easy fight, but the two guys in that fight are both 24, so they're 3 years younger than Allen and Bryce.

It's hard to project Russian Dagestani fighers though. LOTS and LOTS of them seem to have similar style with nice record

Well, I can say though, if they are as good as Evloev, then they will do very very well.

I think Evloev is best outta Topuria, Allen, Bryce, even Mckee. Not saying it would be easy nor a lock but yeah
