First, the hay-maker straight left by Conor
Conor said his hip hit Donald hard
So yes it missed but the hip did not
May not have been decisive, but if you swing for the fences, the lower body follows
Second,
Watch the fight
Conor invented/displayed for the first time, the airborne shoulder-strike in this fight
No one has ever done this, i.e. smoked a dude with his shoulder
Never, ever
Broken nose, eye-socket, whatever
The still-shot shows him 6" to 10" off the ground never done before
Like a Joe Louis 6" punch
BTW
Third, that head kick was so freaking fast
Wow, just wow
I created the term "Airborne Shoulder Strike" TM/Copyright for the record

Wow, that's some killer fight analysis you put together there from your mom's basement.....bravo.

My fight analysis- Donald folded like a cheap suit..

Ariel Helwani called it when talking to Chael. He said Connor was playing nice with Cowboy in the build-up and when the fight starts he would basically blitz him.

I think Cowboy was looking for a glove touch. if I was a coach I'd train my fighters not to worry about glove touches after the fight starts. I don't want them thinking about being nice at all during the fight.

I think Cerrone was caught in a bad thought process.

Conor is so avant-garde he invented a new shot after decades of MMA. The flying shoulder will lay out many fools in violent pub brawls around the world now, Conor is a trendsetter with countless imitators.
