I mean, not entirely inaccurate or anything on what the haters were saying.
My biggest pet peeve is this "said he'd go to heavyweight since 2013." IIRC, that was really to bill a potential superfight of Lesnar and him, which would have been stupid money. In any event, that was prior to Gus and his DC fights, so makes no sense to act as if he was avoiding heavyweight since 2013. He still finished the best LHW's in the world in between then and now.
Jones may lose before his career is over. I have no idea. But, he has dominated the LHW division his entire career when previous to his existence the title changed hands constantly. And if you think the blueprint to beat him is Francis, I think we disagree on the x's and o's.

Gane got wrestled by Francis. Everyone knew Gane couldn't stop him, they only just wondered if his movement and distance could buy him striking time, which it didn't.
Stipe was already old and just gets older and more inactive. And Bones is picking his fights (but at this stage in his career, I'm not gonna front him that. Just annoying that it's holding up a championship for it)
I mean, "fault?" Eh, no, just extraordinarily well timed and convenient. Was his fault the fight didn't get made earlier though
