Do you have a tablet? I'm sure the tech is comparable in all of them.

I was thinking of buy one for the exclusive purpose of reading comics.

If that is the only reason you would want one, I would get the cheapest iPad you can find on craigslist. I've got the standard size. Madmick might have a better recommendation, he's up on the tech stuff. I'm more of an Apple Zombie because I like and know how their stuff works.

Yeah, that would be the only reason. I already have a desktop and two laptops.

I don't like full sized tablets because they're shitty for reading laying down.

I use a Nexus 7 for reading comics. The Apple equivalent would be a iPad Mini. Don't get a first gen N7 tho. Lots of issues with those. Otherwise, you ought to be able to pick up a decent tablet for $50.

Phablets work in a pinch when I'm on the train or something but the lettering can get cramped and difficult to read.

I've got The Metabarons collection and the Fear Agent library editions and haven't even opened them yet.

Here are some books I have that I have yet to read.

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Omnibus
12 Marvel Masterworks hardcovers

and maybe 10-12 random tpbs.

Fear Agent is based as fuck. And the story definitely gets better with volume 2.

lol I tried reading Powers last year or so and couldn't get past the third page. The way he writes dialogue makes me wanna tear my dick off and throw it at old people. His DD and Ultimate Spider-Man are the only books of his I've enjoyed

I haven't read Powers but the most frustrating dialogue I've read in the recent past is Alan Moore's Crossed Plus One-Hundred. He went and created this entire post-apocalyptic English dialect that is just different enough that you have to think about what is being said. It's not so bad if you read several issues at once because your brain starts to get it, but if you pick up following issues after a couple months, you have to start all over again with relearning the series' language.

At first, it was neat as a concept, but now it's become bothersome. Please just "translate" their shit into English and be done with it, please.
