Anyone have good X-Men recommendations? I'm looking to get into their more recent stuff. Newest X-Men stuff I read was Messiah Complex and Second Coming. I'm also going through Remender's Uncanny X-Force omnibus. Was Avengers vs. X-Men and Schism worth reading? I've heard some good things about Cyclops's X-Men team stuff.

has anybody ever read the boys? I went to go buy the defenitive edition 1-6 but it was like $75 per book I liked the Preacher by Garth Ennis is this as good?
 
If you hate traditional superheros, it's for you. The book is alright. I find it to be tasteless in many regards but that's Ennis for you.
 
I really like The Boys, it is a bit graphic, but if you liked Metropolis, or irredeemable/incorruptible its kinda on those lines.
 
okay so b/c i pretty much dont have to the time to read all these comics is this a good way to catch up on the All New All Different Marvel?

its a playlist where the dude pretty much just goes over everything thats happened. i frankly dont really care to read some of the stuff, especially after some of the reactions ive seen to it online or on here (*OML 2, for example).


somewhat related, you guys all read your stuff on tablets now for the most parts? @Bebop ill have to PM u I think

i read my stuff on my phone. having a tablet and reading comics at work would be frowned upon. but on my phone, no one really cares.

I just saw what the Graded value of Batman New 52 #1 is worth.....i definitely need to get mine graded lol.

its an app that lets you read cbz/cbr files. most (if not all) torrented comics are in those formats. collecting comics can get expensive pretty fast so i torrent stuff i dont intend to buy when first released

aint nothing wrong with it. lol i think a lot of people torrent their comics and those that don't don't look down on us that do
