So finishing up Hellboy now, pretty good, lots of good mythology carried over, got maybe 20 more issues to go I think.

Next up I would like venture into a cyberpunk comic, anyone got any good ones. Just started replaying shadowrun returns and I cant help but think this genre would make great comics, if it hasnt already.

Wonder how many mutants are going to be rewritten as Inhumans?

Wolverine's prolly gonna be the biggest name of the bunch.

Anyone go out and get the new Star Wars back under Marvel
Comics.

Written by Jason Aaron and penciled by John Cassady.

A lot of incredible variant covers. I think soemthing like 60-70 in total. A lot of homages paid to old classic marvel covers or covers that have a big niche fan base.

EAST OF WEST is pretty good, although I'm not exactly sure if it's considered dyed-in-the-wool cyberpunk. It's more like a Sci-fi Western. Jonathan Hickman does a lot of high concept sci-fi (MANHATTAN PROJECTS is highly recommended). The art style may require a bit of a learning curve but with both it fits.

Are you okay with manga? The classics? GHOST IN THE SHELL? APPLESEED? AKIRA?

^^ haha I made that gif

Re read Planet Hulk , one of the most underrated Story arcs in any comic and probably my favorite Hulk story

On issue #20 of original Uncanny X-Men

man these are hard to speed through. Lots of text and while the stories are enjoyable they just are a little too simple for me. Great for the kids who were reading them at the time but a hard switch from the more mature modern comics.

Really wanna try to go through all the UXM issues but this is quite a task.

I have no idea what Stan Lee is doing in this video.

Sex Criminals was awesome - Showing how Suzie and Jon met was one of the sweetest meetings I've ever seen in comics or otherwise. Funny premise and can't wait for Vol.2. And fucking X-Men: Fatal Attractions is tremendous - Magneto was the ultimate badass in that event (ripping the adamantium out, tearing Cable apart, crushing Senyaka with his own coils). Throw in the Colossus development and David X-Factor issues and it's a fucking killer TPB.

It gets really good stick it out. It is quite wordy though, just about anyone will say that on here.

Picked that and World War Hulk up recently.

Let me know how you like it , will start by saying Planet Hulk Art >> World War Hulk Art. Anyways liked the overall arc and the Green Scar/World Breaker version of the Hulk doesn't appear as often as he should since he was introduced

just saw Namor get his ass handed to him by Black Panther & Black Bolt. crazy, I like them all.

also, I read the Generation Hope TBP. wtf, Hope is such a douche in this entire series & the writing/dialogue between characters is pretty terrible. typos even - wtf? anyways, they make her the most badass X-Men where she shits on Xavier, threatens Cyclops, Emma, Rogue, Kitty etc. like they're all inexperienced little bitches. also, that character Zero is such a blatant rip off of Tetsuo from Akira. what's up with that?

Need me some advice.

I've been looking to get some Marvel omnis lately, and one that especially caught my eye is the Captain Britain HC omni by Davis, Moore and the crew. It's 250€ new sans tax or postage, and I usually have no problem spending that money on my bi-weekly reads, unless it's not really good - for reference, I got Evolutionary war omni for 30€ last week and regreted paying anyting upwards of 1€ for it.

So... Advice on buy or not?

P.S.

Yep, I hate that, I always saw Namor as the archetypal noblesse oblige character, sorta like Aquaman is trying to be, and I loved him as such. That beig said, Hickman has always handled him well, I hope he continues to do so if he isn't dead (I have a strong feeling he might not be).

I figured it will, I'm going just going slowly.

I have to break it up with some other stuff every so often, for example yesterday I read the 5 issue mini series - Magneto: Testament which I thought was pretty good.
