I like Maritza Sanchez. Will be a standup match and Maritza is light years ahead in that department.

Maritza does look better on the feet and more athletic too. I just think Acosta is more fundamental sound, will bet against the public as money coming in for Maritza Sanchez.

I also been running and capping fight badly, lost big back to back. I feel like putting $500 on this fight but with discipline I should only have $250 until I gain back confident and luck.

Acosta’s defense against the right hand is not there. She also drops her left hand after she throws a jab. Sanchez has a 70” reach too so I can see her landing. Acosta also stands a little to upright after she throws punches. I feel those flaws can be a problem for her.

Maritza flaw is she fall down like a cut tree but lucky for her Acosta is not a td artist or wrestler. So you likely be right about Acosta defense if she doesn't have a td game. I known Acosta likely have to clinch Maritza up, not sure what she going to do with the clinch or who will win the clinch. I am hoping she take Maritza down for easy win.

I always find it interesting that oddsmaker Nick Kalikas does a betting podcast for some of these Combate cards after he sets the lines himself and sees some of the early line movement. Surely doing this at Campbell Maclaren's behest as I always mention. I find it fascinating that so many books pick these lines up and take it seriously. And also that Kalikas actually takes a position and says who he thinks will win and which side has value, for what that is worth.

Crimony, Lucero Acosta is even slower than I remember on a re-watch in her one pro Combate fight, lumbering around hardly throwing strikes like she was afraid to rupture her breast implants. Maritza Sanchez is going to look like the Tasmanian Devil fighting her. Hopefully, Sanchez's lack of takedown defense won't matter much in this fight.

Haha, the most intriguing fight in Combate is the beautiful 135 lbs lady with a rack. I though she is super slow too and her striking is almost non-existing. That why I find Acosta to be more amazing when she won her debut fight by 30-27 on all 3 judges and without a scratch.

I find Sanchez is very young and raw, she have many flaws to work out. Acosta likely will lose since I am on her and I am on a cold streak losing all split decision last 3 weeks.
