Here is the quote you are probably talking about:

"I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."

He also said during this same speech (April 2023) that school shootings would stop if we had armed guards at schools. Which completely ignores what just happened in Uvalde, where 19 kids and 2 teachers were killed, less than a year earlier.

Yea I saw that it's pretty sad outside of Denver, FBI is tracking.

He did. It was a week after a half dozen adults and children were gunned down at a grade school and the gun control debate was in full swing bc of it. He was very articulate and had clearly given the subject a lot of thought:

You need to start a thread on this. Not much information on this. How did the person get the gun in the school and where did they get it in the first place are two important questions.

He was right and knew he could be a victim. He didn't say he was fine with it he said it was an unfortunate price we had to pay for the freedom of the 2nd amendment.

Americans worship celebrities even more than other countries. People felt like they knew Charlie from his videos.

I'm not saying it's right but that might be the reason. Either way it's sad. Sandy Hook taught me that nobody actually cares about kids. Even had that mother fucker Alex Jones call it a false flag and a bunch of his dumbass followers harassed the parents. This really is a horrible country sometimes.
