Colby vs RDA was not a dominant performance, title-worthy?

Its was an ok win but nothing extremely dominant, colby even got tagged a few times although I do admit he seems to have a very good chin.
DO you think he deserves the title?

You don't deserve titles, you win them

The King of Chaos is destined to melt TyQuil and make welterweight great again.

The sooner you realize and accept this, the easier the reality will become.

The Interim title was unneeded, and quite frankly ridiculous. That said, what are you smoking? To win a title means to beat your opponent/former champ, there is no criteria for a certain level of domination otherwise no belt...

The crowds are slowly accepting his greatness

After Twood it will be impossible to deny

Found another one, guys! Time to bash!

Definitely. His fan base here and on social media has grown exponentially between the Maia and RDA wins.

Woodley vs Covington will be best selling PPV of 2018, assuming no Conor/Lesnar/gsp come back.

Side note, I have to admit it was a pretty entertaining fight, which is surprising, as wall and stall is usually the most boring type of fight possible. Good on Colby to be constantly working and never coast

He raped another silly Brazilian for the belt. He has the title already now it's up to the pea head cyclops "tyron" to fight or do another straight to DVD movie and vacate.

He won the interim belt for that fight.
So has to fight Woodley next.

He has an admirable win streak.
And, unlike Till, he made weight.

I’m just saying the obvious, even though I hate his style.

Colby should be concerned about a BJJ 155er got up after every takedown until the end when he was exhausted. Full size 170 pound ripped men with cardio will make his Trump-loving ass pay.

This. The interim title was nonsense but it is what it is. I am def looking forward for the Woodley-Colby fight now.

Colby will be in his second PPV card(first one sold ~150) Punk or Colby may have added 20k to the previous time Whittaker/Romero fought.
Woodley has sold 240k and 300k.

I don't really see this beating 220 at 380k

That's pretty much why the UFC makes interim titles in the first place. I think it's 3 reasons actually. To placate top contenders when the champ doesn't want to fight, to try and create a PPV headliner and to create some buzz for a "unification" fight.

Tyron has been out almost a year and was annoyingly trying to line up fights with the Diaz brothers instead of RDA or Covington.

Meltzer has already came out and said the 150k was innaccurate by a six figure number, meaning at worst it did 250k. He said by next weekend they’ll have the correct range of sales.

Colby and Woodley are already promoting this fight well. If Colby really meets with trump this fights spotlight will blow up significantly in the mainstream media. Especially with TyRun being on TMZ. Casuals are going to eat up the race baiting.

I live my life refusing to acknowledge interim titles. It's a great life. You all should try it.

It was for an interim belt. Winning this type of fight is, by definition, worthy of a title shot.

How does that work? Both TWood and Colby are boring as fuck and no one outside of Sherdog knows who Colby even is.
