Colby runs his mouth (not with a bunch of intelligence), but never the less he sticks to it. Still nobody even cares enough to want to watch him get beat up. Is it just because he is a boring fighter or am I missing something. It reminds me of Big Tim, people disliked him but not enough to tune in to want to watch him lose.

Colby's energy and delivery doesn't affect me, i'm not even interested in seeing him lose. I understand what he is aiming for, but it doesn't work for me.
If Chael for example did/said the same things , i'm sure i would watch (he has great delivery and energy).

No care or interest whatsoever in Colby.

More interest in seeing CM Punk's return.

I can see what TS is going for though, the similarities are there. Tim Sylvia was also a fighter i was not interested in watching.

There are many fighters i watch to see win, and many i watch to see lose.

And many fights i watch just because i KNOW they will be entertaining.


Alright, i'll take it back, there is ONE fight i'd love to see with Colby, Colby VS Werdum. That is all.

Colby tries all he can to be hated, while Tim really wanted everyone to like him, and to be the American HW hero.

I think Timmy is more like DC. They try so hard to be loved and to do the right thing, calling all their opponents villains, and themselves the good guys, but instead everyone ends up hating them.

Colby is just a very young mind that does all he can to get attention... It is probably quite smart in todays mma world, where we have a lot new, young fans that came into the sport from 2015 until now, and like the drama. He sure got everyones attention, even if he is a very boring fighter.

I actually liked Sylvia. Apparently was quite a nice guy, humble, and usually came to fight. I can go back and watch him beating on Cabbage like ne was his dick and owed him money. He never really got the respect he deserved, even from the other fighters at Miletich. Apparently Matt Hughes was a real piece of shit to him. Did Sylvia have something to do with the train incident? We'll never know...

I'd watch him getting beat up. And so do others, I guarantee it. So, at least partially, it worked for him. Would've worked even better, had he not been bommeranged and calling the cops afterwards .

Tim wasn't a complete douchebag he had that MFS arrogance but wasn't saying the type of nonsense Colby does. People didn't like him due to his team and the way he fought once he won the belt the second time plus the failed ped test. It would be like if Meathead wins this HW tournament in Bellator then gos on to say he's the best HW in the world all while just doing enough not to lose. Colby is just being a troll kinda like the troll who started up the fake Tim Sylvia myspace page to troll Jerome Le Banner.
