The only possible way to beat him is to out wrestle him, Out pace him. or literally break his jaw. Unfortunately I don’t see Jorge being able to do any of those.

Then Marty should be called "heavy kitchen appliance" because he literally cracked that granite chin

As we’ve seen repeatedly over the years nearly all the fighters that are blessed with a granite chin will get KTFO if they fight long enough, not to say that’s what happens with Colby. He’s actually quite inactive and doesn’t absorb a ton of damage because he’s usually on the canvas in top control. That being said Till was thought to have a decent scouser chin until Masvidal slept him, that goes double for Ben Assgrin, Masvidal popped both of these guys cherrys.

Jorge mentions body shots a lot when talking about Colby

I agree he did, but I’m curious how that holds up post-breakage. That wasn’t a small injury that was pretty legit. Homie had his jaw wired shut for 2 months. There’s absolutely a chance his chin strength has declined but we’ll have to wait and see

If I'm in Jorge's corner, the emphasis would be on footwork, body shots, and keeping the fight at range.* (Maybe it's the worst advice; just my opinion, though.)

Colby has a hell of a chin; but is extremely hittable.
Jab all night; double up when you can. Land rear hands and body shots when they present themselves.
Only use that mid-combo switch rear hand when Colby's gassed from the body shots.

This has the potential to be a long night for Jorge.
Hopefully he doesn't take the Diaz brothers' obstinate approach of refusing to change his game plan if necessary.

I have a big expensive saw for cutting granite, if only I had Usman's power I guess I coulda skipped it =/

Fully expect Colby to win this fight but really, is it that big of a deal if he does? He will still have an incredibly thin resume, 2 losses to the current champ, and only 2 wins in the last 3 years.

As for Masvidal, losing a boring clinch heavy decision will be the final sapping of the hype from the Askren win IMO and I predict that he will not main event a PPV again. He is turning 38 this year and has not put together more than 3 straight wins in his entire UFC career... likeable fighter but he is a glorified journeyman IMHO

Had is defined as to have contained, held or owned something in the past.

I’m not saying his jaw was or wasn’t broken. But that X-ray wouldn’t be of him.
You can’t just access peoples X-rays and medical records. That’s ridiculous
