Colby did great. 90 percent of the fight was standing and he didn't get knocked out. He could have come on strong in later rounds.

Inactivity and an inflated ranking. RDA is the last win he had which was over someone coming off a win and wasn't on the doorsteps to retirement. This was back in 2018 ffs.

The cut was very unfortunate as it happened early. Colby was not winning the fight but Buckley was starting to slow down. It's not out of the question that Colby could've won as the fight went on but the damage was done.
Buckley had great takedown defense and his hands looked sharp. Colby's eternal problem is that he just doesn't have a lot of striking power. He wasn't able to get Buckleys respect with most strikes he threw, so Buckley just walked through a lot of it.
Not sure what Colby does from here. Guy is extremely tough though, can't deny it

He had spurts of explosive strikes that shocked me and long periods of labored movements.

Did great?? Are you rtarted? He was getting killed LOL. He offered no resistance and the only times he wasnt getting brain damage was when Buckley rested a little bet on his back LMAO.

LOL LMAO ROFL LOLROFL

So many lols and rofls are being had today.

Every judge scored the first two rounds for Buckley and were likely on their way to scoring the third for him as well before the doctor stopped it. Things were going to have to change dramatically for Colby to win that fight.

Wasn't nearly as bad as some are pretending, like he was getting 10-8'd, but he's definitely lost a step and getting a bad cut on his eyelid pretty early didn't make it any easier. 2nd and 3rd rounds were pretty competitive, but can't really see much of a path for Colby to work his back into top contention as a pretty small 37 year old WW. Probably about time to hang em up.

I think Buckles would have been fine in the champ rounds. He seemed to be relaxed and maintaining a five round sustainable pace while still thumping Colby around in there.

The blood made it look worse than it was. Don't think he even got dropped. That fall at the end of R1 was a slip. The champion rounds would have been interesting, he was just getting his wrestling going. He's definitely lost a step tho, looked slower.

No… No he wasn’t. He failed every takedown in the third. He only ended up on top when Buckley slipped off the back. Laid in guard accomplishing nothing and Buckley had gotten back up when they stopped it. Colby showed no signs of the tide turning, he looked more tired than Buckley did.

People let their hatred of him blind them

You know, sort of like what would have happened to Colby if the fight continues

I think without the cut though Colby finds a way to win
