He would NOT have done all that chest thumping if Conor wasn't being a dick. The first and second fights he definitely was not.

The released training videos shows him as pretty scummy. His interview with Ariel comes off as extremely scummy before his second fight with McGregor. Ariel asks him about his pay and instead of just normally responding or politely saying he doesn't want to give that information, he had to flex and passive-aggressively insults Ariel with comments about how he doesn't ask about Ariel's pay.

I'm fine with Dustin chest thumping after beating McGregor, like I said, it was obvious the guy was angry and he had a right to be angry at McGregor, so be angry, don't be fake and wish him well and call his family beautiful.

Did you believe for a second that Dustin was sincerely trying to wish Conor well, and was praising Conor for having a beautiful family?

He was obviously trying to set himself up as the bigger man, he talks about how you don't talk crap about people's families, and then throws in a comment about McGregor's family like see, see how much better I am? This guy trashes my family and I'll even praise his.

Dustin should have been more real, and just said, I'm glad I broke his leg, and I hope he limps home to his family, cause clearly the guy was happy he broke his leg, with all that smiling and pointing as McMcgregor laid there.

He didn't just tell him to shut up, he also pointed and laughed at his broken leg.

The fact that he laughed at McGregor's pain and rubbed his broken leg in his face, he clearly didn't sincerely meant to wish McGregor well.

I'd probably be a fan of Poirier if he just said what was in his heart, if he said something like "He wants to talk all that sh*t about my family? Karma is a b*tch and now he'll be limping back to his own family".
