I have not heard about the guy. He won his last fight but the incident has overshadowed his victory in a major way. He is still a great fighter and should have already been back by now.

It should be Khamza but ducking again. Probably miss weight again by 8lbs and flip off the fans

Colby's next fight is a civil case against Jorge. UFC has already set a precedent where they keep fighters ranked high even though they are inactive. They basically let Ortega take 2 years off while staying in the Top 5.

You guys can talk all the smack you want but here's the thing. I don't care about "personality" of cage fighters. Colby is a relentless volume pressure striker kind of like a less technical Nick Diaz or Max Holloway and then mix that in with awesome USA wrestling and I'm a fan. Couldn't care less about politics or interviews honestly. He may not be the GOAT but he's pretty sick and I'm very excited to see him fight again.

Lol. Never again unless he wins ten in a row? If you’re the next best guy and you prove it by beating the other next best guys, you get to fight for the belt, especially if it’s a new champion or if many people think you won your last title shot.

If Covington beats Chimaev he has a great case for the next shot, especially if Leon wins the rematch. If he beats Burns then it probably depends on what Shavkat, Belal and Brady do.

No, not another ten from scratch, but he has to put together a string of wins. Everything else that has been suggested he earned the shots, and then got additional shots, without having to re-earn them, and he's failed. There's no reason to keep seeing him get any more shots at people or titles until he can show that he's earned them.

At LEAST three or four, no one outside of the Top Ten, and more than half against Top Five. THEN he's shown something that tells us "yeah, watching re-runs for the nth time sucks for fans, but you can't deny him, because he's earned it." No passing on matchups because he's going to wait for a title shot after just another one or two.

The injury over shadows nothing, not even masvidals degenerate behaviours. A rematch with Usman makes no sense, a rematch with Masvidal is ridiculous idea. Burns should be his opponent

Its a ridiclous idea but there is some story behind it. It can and does sell regardless if its right or wrong. Of course it would be wrong but it makes money which makes sense as they say.
