It was because Morgan asked him something he didn't like during a presser for his last fight with Usman I think. He said he should give him 10 push ups back then and he still hasn't done it. Can't remember what it was exactly.

It may have started just before UFC 268. I can't find online what John Morgan initially said to Colby that caused Colby to get pissed off, but this is what Colby said to John Morgan at the UFC 268 pre-fight press conference after John asked him a question:
"John, you were getting real slick with me yesterday. You're a clickbait merchant. You were saying I was undeserving [of the Kamaru re-match] and didn't deserve to be here. Well guess what? You're undeserving of an answer from me."

Then Colby went off on his flabby butt mock tirade, which he continued yesterday.
 
I can't stand that fat entitled turd always getting the first questions and just giving simpy soft balls,he is such a dana shill plus I can't stand his head. The epitomy of a basement dwelling incel, should not lead the mma press, sorry. Being fat is not even the main reason, its everything about him that is tilting.

Man, he really does look like Newman. And Colby is working his shtick, a guy like Morgan would be targeted for humor in a pro wrestling setting so he went for it, I guess.

This guy, the interviewer, is always singing like a girl while asking the fighters questions. Every sentence has a song intonation like when first graders are learning to read. ending in a high pitch. Trying to be super mega friendly and non threatening.

when I saw him, that explained everything.
