man I thought for sure Colby was gonnah quit after he said that his jaw was broken , he stepped up to continue the fight , I thought he was winning
 
I don’t like Covington or his schtick, but I can’t deny his toughness. I’m still glad Usman beat him, though.
 
Usman ate all of Colby shots, eye pokes, and low blows and still knocked him down twice. Usman is a savage!

Shertards have always been the same. Whoever ruffles their jimmies and hurts their fee fees becomes target number one for a while.

Bisping was hated because of British sarcasm and beating team USA on TUF9.

Conor was hated for being cocky and loudmouthed while having the audacity to not be American (dude has legit reasons to be disliked these days but the hate started way before that)

Shit, Leon Edwards was hated a while back because he was assaulted backstage by everyone's new favourite fighter.

People pretend to hate Colby because he talks trash, but we all know it's because of the Trump stuff. Plenty of fighters tslk trash and get no hate whatsoever.


Meanwhile fighters that have done actually bad stuff like Jon Jones, Matt Hughes, Rampage, Charles Bennett who are loved on here.
 
Its hard to say he feels like he won a moral victory when he ran out of the octagon and then whined about his defeat on twitter. He should have stood in there like Conor and Ronda after they lost and walked out. Even Askren took his losses better. Had Usman ran away after being Tkoed, Colby fans would be crowing at the top of their lungs today. Instead Usman didn't engage in trash talk afterwards and said he was ready for anyone in the division. True Champ.
 
Both guys deserve credit, two wrestlers who came to bang, and neither one backed down.
