She was watching the event with me and was absolutely disgusted with Colbys promo then post fight win speech. She ended up doing some research on the guy and was flabbergasted that a Profesional athlete, a role model, would be allowed to act this way. Racist, mysognistic, attention seeking, despicable. In trying times like these this is NOT the message we need.

My wife is a regular person, a good person. Covington makes MMA and fans like me look horrible. I legitimately now have trouble looking at my wife in the eyes from all the guilt I have from watching mma. Two animals killing each other in a cage, promoting racism for popularity. How can I be a good role model for her son when I look up to losers?

Sometimes I feel the same way tbh. The truth is TS that it is more people's preconceived notions of fighting that is shaping our image to the world. Every sport has bad guys. All the fans still watch even though they are there. No one stopped watching Miramax movies over Weinstein. The radio still plays Nelly songs though he was accused of rape.
