That kind of makes sense, even though Colby is way too small for MW.

He has very little chance of finishing Bo, either on the feet or by submission or GnP. But still, it's a moderate challenge for Bo, considering his weak competition so far. If he loses or barely squeaks by a washed WW, then Bo might want to reconsider MMA.

I think it's good also because it's 2 people who individually I dont care to watch fight right now, but if they fought eachother It'd be interesting to see which one I'd care less to see win right now. I'd for sure root for colby but I'd have no expectations for him to impress me
 
This has potential for most boring fight of 2025. Sean wins a boring point fight decision.

Colby has looked great lately, but this is a big step.

I can see him getting the 185 and 205 strap if he so chooses with Chael in his corner.

Yeah that's why Sean became champ, because he's limited. And undisputed champ at that. All Colby ever got was an interim championship belt.

Colby and his schtick are old. Guy fights once a year, and has looked garbage in his last two fights. He has zero wins against top ten current UFC fighters, and everything he says needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

Just like he said last year that he would even beat Khamzat at 185 pounds. He will get mauled at 185, and he knows it. He talked the same nonsense about beating Buckley at 170 pounds last month before their fight, and we seen what happened to him. His best chance might be to move down to 155 pounds and get a fresh start, but at his age it is doubtful how that weight cut will affect his performance.
