Even if that is so, the logic in even wanting him to be impeached is insane. Do these people think Neocon Pence will be better? Do they think half the country that voted for him will just get over it?

It used to be that a president had to commit a serious high crime to get thrown out, now all you have to do is talk to someone that talked to someone from another country. And why is peace with Russia such a bad thing? People have lost sight of the forest for the trees.

This reply is completely partisan. If there were illegal actions against Bernie we can support another investigation but not give Trump an out.

Trump doesn't stand at all for brokering a solution to the Palestinian issue. This guy is not a great dealmaker. His idea is to steamroll through the opposition and when that fails he files for bankruptcy.
Getting a blowjob and conspiring with an adversarial country to influence our election are not even remotely similar. If Trump has been cheating on his taxes and laundering Russian money it's a no brainer that he's been blowing smoke up all his supporters asses.
If he's impeached we can deal with what ever Pense does because he at least seems to have morals even if he's ultra conservative.
I'm familiar with Trump since the 80's and he did not make a good reputation for himself. This seems like a bad dream, and for some I'm sure it will seem like a bad hangover if they can accept they were manipulated.

He won't be impeached. Even Pelosi knows what's up, and has told people to calm the fuck down on that front. With a Senate majority, the Dems would have to be a special kind of stupid to waste their time with that, over some undisclosed business dealings with Russia that the average non-raging Liberal American couldn't give a flying fuck about.

This is all fuel for 2020. That's all this is. The Dems' worst nightmare is Mueller releasing a final report on this bullshit so far away from the Presidential election.

The problem with Trump isn't ideology. He's corrupt. You can put the biggest Christian or Muslim in office and it wouldn't be so bad if they were serving their country and not just looking to enrich themselves. How is it difficult to wonder why he never released his tax returns or present his international business dealings? Lie upon lie upon lie but those rally chants sure were great. <Goldie11>

This oft repeated idea that since Mueller has not put forth his case yet means he has no case. You suggest 'nothing being proved yet' is some thing of a surprise even though Mueller has not filed his case yet.

That is like letting the prosecution deliver its case in court and before the defense even has a chance to go you saying ' well they have not provided any proof of innocence yet Judge so he must be guilty'.

By what has been revealed about his “case” I’m not very confident that anything significant enough to impeach trump comes from it hence my comment on nothing is proved as of yet...just allegations with nothing significant to back them up. Unless ol muller has been holding out, but if he had anything big it would be front page news yesterday no case needed

Again if you are sitting in a court, you see the Prosecution deliver their case and BEFORE the defense delivers theirs you come to a conclusion and say

"By what has been revealed about his “case” I’m not very confident that anything significant enough to (say this guy is innocent) I hope you would understand why people thought your position was dumb and laughed at you.

The Prosecution HAS NOT put forth any of their case and you keep saying 'well because I have not seen anything convincing, then...'
