Cody knocking TJ down in practice (VID)

Could be anyone, impossible to tell who they are. We need some sort of new age technology system to get close up of their face to see who they really are.

I am dubious though because looks like 2 humans, and 1 is not a snake shape, can't see the ole rattle for starters.

1. No he's not. TJ is seamless with his transitions in between striking and takedowns, Dominick isn't as good.

2. Someone made a post earlier about the Garbrandt vs Briones fight, Cody for sure bites to feints. TJ is one of the best at feinting strikes and then changing levels to shoot for the TD.

3. Here's some shit for you... Gustafsson took down Jones, Jones took down DC, and DC took down Gus...

Riddle me that one, ehh??

They actually all took each other down, so I don't really understand the point. Anyway, we'll see on Saturday. I highly doubt we'll see Dillashaw control Garbrandt on the ground, at all.

Somehow this grainy five-second clip from several years ago is a guarantee that Cody is going to win by knockout when they fight for real, I guess I should expect to see a lot of people betting every penny they have on this fight without hesitation.

Jones took down Gus? Gus took down DC?

Yes, they did. Gus took down Cormier more than once.

DC never took Jones down. If DC "took down" Jones, then Cruz took down Cody too.

I don't remember Gus taking DC down either, nor Jones taking Gus down.

He needs to show the video from when he went to TJ's new gym.

What I never understood is that TAM bitched that TJ was a bad teammate. He leaves the team and then all they do is bitch that he left them ???? (wtf ?)

Rashad Evans made Jon Jones cry and quit while sparring. Jones pretty much copped to it when Evans called him on it leading up to their fight. In the end it didn't mean shit. Training and sparring is just that...it's not the intense competition of a legit fight. It's literally meaningless.

With the exception of Cormier's takedown of Gustafsson, none of these takedowns involved any meaningful control, but Gus definitely secured two takedowns against Cormier. Cormier taking down Jones is a bit more arguable. Jones definitely did get Gus down, but ultimately failed to secure meaningful control.

No its the opposite

Rashad was the champ and made the new guy cry

TJ was the champ and the new guy dropped him

Basically this.

Sparring is where you make your mistakes so you don't make them in the fight.

By posting this video all Garbrandt did is remind TJ not to make the same mistake come Saturday.

So there you have it.

Cormier outwrestled Gus, Jones outwrestled Cormier and Gus outwrestled Jones (He had more control than Jones had over him.)

My point is that Dom outwrestling TJ but failing to outwrestle Cody, doesn't mean shit when we're talking TJ vs Cody's wrestling.

TJ was the champ?

This was before the David Easton fight.

Cody fans scrambling to find some meaning in this meaningless video lol...

It's like Conor knocking down Paulie Malignaggi during sparring. Does anyone really believe that CM is a better boxer than Malignaggi? Obviously not. It was sparring...it's not a real fight. Nobody goes 100% training or sparring...it's too dangerous. And fighters are trying out new shit during training, things that leave them open for mistakes and failures. That's what training is all about.

People who think this means anything have never legit sparred a minute in their lives.

TJ maybe a snake but TAM is full of weasels. The type that rat shit out.

I would pick Conor to beat Paulie

I was being metaphorical

Cody was a 32-0 amateur boxer when this video happened. He had been boxing since 11 or something, right?

TJ was a wrestler who had been striking(kickboxing) for 2-3 years.

This looks like they were doing boxing sparring.
