My theory is he wants to grow his hair longer until it covers his forehead so you can't see the top of that sword tramp stamp as its not in alignment with the bottom of the tramp stamp under his eye. At least then you will only see the bottom of his eye and that crap just looks like one of those triangle shapes that Doink the Clown had
