Cody's coach already said (in 2017) he'd be willing to drop down to fight Mighty Mouse. Six days ago, Cody himself said: "If they go out and compensate us, I’ll be more than willing to fight ‘Mighty Mouse’ at 125 pounds." Cody can't get an instant titleshot against Cejudo, but he can drop down, and he can fight Mighty Mouse with the winner getting a titleshot against Cejudo.

Cody and MM both weighed the same amount on fight night (142). He could make 125 easily.
