Media Cody Garbrandt suffering from long covid effects

Fair point regarding your own safety (you are free to make that choice) , but there seems to be a lack of empathy to the people you would potentially spread it to... Nor any mention of helping out with their medical bills.
It's not just a lack of empathy. You don't have the right to endanger the lives of other people.

The average IQ on this board is probably below 90. What a bunch of idiots.

yea it sucks, body aches, fever, cant sleep right, takes all my energy away, and i gotta handle it with just tylenol.
I hear that man. I don’t get sick much but when I get a cold or the flu it’s typically gone in a few days. Going on day 8 with the Rona and still have pretty severe symptoms. Hope you feel better broski

It's extremely well known that exercise is one of the best thing you can do for your immune system. It even assists in making the proteins that repair DNA... which is at the basis of your overall health.

There's also a shit load of consumption strategies that assist your immune system & make that "explosion" you speak of less likely.

"perfectly normal" people exploding when they meet? I think you mean "seemingly" perfectly normal. If one person's coody'z causes the other person to become violently ill then there would be a pre-existing condition in one or both of them that has gone un-detected. Some kind of allergy maybe... but even a lot of allergies can go away in an optimized immune system.

I'm open though... if you can share how 2 perfectly healthy people with optimized immune systems explode when they meet just through some weird chemistry... go ahead & dazzle me with some links & I'll take a look. :D

Pandemics smash economies with or without lock downs. When a highly contagious virus is deadly to the people who hold most of the wealth (older people), the economy is fucked. A short, strict lockdown early on and shutting down new clusters is effective at solving the health issue, and then the economic damage can then be repaired. Right now America has both a smashed economy and an out of control health problem. It's a complete failure of leadership.

I know how that shit goes. I got it last febuary for 5-6 weeks. 2 hospital visits, one week straight of a temp over 101-102, started out coughing up flakes of blood then eventually turned into little blood clots.

My lungs still dont feel 100%

I feel for him. Hope he recovers.

I feel it's an extreme over-estimation that if the elderly stayed home that
  • 30% of small businesses won't re-open while double that are working at half capacity...
  • 50% of American renters/mortgages would become in excess of 90 dayz delinquent
  • the government had to borrow 9 trillion dollars on top of a debt that was already unpayable at 109% GDP to debt ratio going into 2019.
These are USA figures, but everyone's going through something similar.

To give some reference to what it means to borrow 9 trillion dollars in a year that goes straight into our debt as a country: It took the USD 95 years from its beginning in 1913 to accumulate 10 Trillion in debt. After the banker's 2008 fiasco we then added 18 trillion in debt on top of that in a little over a decade. This year alone so far we've added 9 trillion & counting. Give that stuff a good thinking through while you consider that the old people staying home would've been of equal cost.

  • 10 Trillion - 95 years
  • 18 trillion - 11 years of giving free money to the bankers who caused the problem
  • 9 trillion - 1 year (& counting)

Myrddin Wild: you have said a lot of misguided stuff, but to ignore that, can you answer: what should government do to address the pandemic, and what should businesses do, and what should individuals do? Or, in the case of your biggest fear, the hunger issues for international kids, what can we do to prevent and mitigate that?

Taking into account real likely human reactions and approaches.

As if he gives a shit about starving kids.

I had covid 19, almost zero symptoms but a friend had it and he thought he was gonna die. No doubt this is a bioweapon. How can I have no major symptoms but my friend is bed ridden for a week?

Did you take anythng I am hearing 2000 to 5000 mg of Vit D and Zinc 50 g a day

Flu bro’s deny it even when somebody who’d have no reason to lie bout it’s effects , says it fucked them up , yet believe everything without question from Orange “Reptilian :eek::eek::eek: Enforcement Director “ Man. Go figure . Oops , fir The War Room . My bad.

Orange Man is Bad is 74 had it and went 10 days later on a non stop 5 state a day campaign for like 2 weeks so I trust what he has to say about it over a shertard

Closer to 1 in 33, but math isn’t for everybody.

Honestly, he’s out of the acute phase of the infection, so it’s extremely unlikely tbh. I guess he could always throw a clot and stroke out, but extremely unlikely. His cardio may never be the same, though.

1 in 33 Im bad at math help me out how does someon at that age with a 99.8 survival rate equate to 1 in 33?

I dont really get all the jokes about Garbrandt. Yeah he is an idiot to the max but if that is true he has very serious health complications and his career could be over.

Not really a reason to joke

Agreed. 100%.

Some people have an unusual auto-immune type response to COVID where the body attacks healthy tissues. My friend has it and he's a bit older and overweight and almost no effect. His son is young and in great shape and he's been pretty sick, like a bad flu for 10 days or so. Strange.

Do you know what anecdotal evidence is, and why you're objectively stupid?

He's got pneumonia and blood clots you moron. He could have permanent damage.
Agreed. Those are the same people that will say something stupid like "well technically only 2.5% of the people who served in WW2 died it wasn't that bad" all while completely ignoring those with PTSD and chronic injuries

Orange man had access to the worlds best doctors and drugs but keep thinking he’s got special dna . I’m sure you’d like to swallow it .
