Watching Cody last night made it clear he was fighting emotionally.
Research Cody vs Cruz. Cody never went for a brawl he picked his shots fought intelligently and won using speed and technique.
Cody last night tried to throw the kitchen sink at TJ all night and got countered hard.
The perfect exchamge to prove this TJ stopped through a hook, Cody through hard TJ again stopped through the same hook... The third time this exact sequence happened and TJ went down.
If Cody stopped reset and used his speed like he did against Cruz there would be a different outcome.
That said, TJ is a beast and the smarter foughter and seemed to continue to play mind games with Cody to rile him up.
Horrible fight IQ for the win.
Lastly, Cejudo is fast and a vastly better wrestler i wouldnt sleep on him against TJ.
