how many title defences does conor have again?

How can Aldo be ahead of Conor if he isn't the best in his division? His accomplishments overall dwarf Conors but as of now Conor is a better fighter therefore he should be ahead. I can see DC being there tho, regardless of Jon, Daniel belongs there. Aldo does too, you just can't put him in front of Conor.

Also I'm just saying, not like p4p matters.

thats like saying JDS is better than cain after the first fight or serra is better than GSP

anyone can get clipped early in any combat sport especially MMA, doesnt mean he isnt the better fighter of the two, we wont know who is better until the second fight

if conor sleeps him early again then he is clearly the better fighter but if aldo weathers conors early power he has an excellent chance of winning

We do know, they fought and Conor won, he is the better fighter, period. Untill Aldo proves otherwise you can't be going on faith.
Aldo always has a good chance of winning against anyone at 145 or 155, he just has to prove it.

Conor only lost when he moved up 2 weight classes and fought a much larger man. That shouldn't take away his standings at all. He didn't lose his title or even in his division or the next division up. but 2 divisions up. Nate shouldn't improve at all.

Matt Serra was technically better than GSP for a year, or at the very least ranked higher.
Remember GSP had to fight Koscheck and then Hughes (i believe because Serra got injured if i remember correct) for a shot a Serra again.

No, he did not move up just 1 weight class, cause they didn't fight at 155lbs. they fought at 170lbs. Whether they decided to not cut or not. Makes no difference. When you come into a fight weighing 23lbs more than any fight in the last 3 years, it's going to effect you.. and it did...
