Hear me out.

Seriously. He keeps jumping around every single minute of the fight. His movements are so unsmooth and jerky. Absoluetly zero rhythm to anything he does. 90% of his bodily movements seem unnecessary. He is either too tight or he throws his limbs around as if they do not belong to/not attached to his body And He maintains that clowniness for every single round. If he were to move like normal fighters, he could go 10 rounds at the same pace. I consider GSP as having one of the best cardio in MMA but I bet if he tries moving around like Guida does, and doing stuff the way Guida does he'll drop dead from exhaustion in the third round.

Forget Cain, Forget GSP, Forget Nick Diaz , Guida is the man.

good thing this isn't the Ultimate Treadmill Championship.

He gassed against Henderson because Henderson actually made him fight...

Clay has insane cardio. I trained out of Jackson's last summer for a fight. I remember going to run sprints up the mountain with Clay and a bunch of other guys. By the end of our sprints everybody is hunched over grasping for breath and Clay is still jogging in place yelling at the rest of us to stand up straight. I was greatly inspired by his work ethic, nobody works harder than that dude

Running for 25 minutes isn't that hard...
Only liked his fight against bendo and sanchez which he lost

It's definitely up there.

I wouldn't put his cardio ahead of the Diaz bros, Cain or Bisping though...

Guys like that are great to have at your gym.

Insane cardio for sure, denying it is silly.

Cool! You were/are lucky to have had such a guy around.

The old Guida was a beast... ok, he's the blanket fighter prototype but he was used to stay active every second of the match.
His most recent version is more like, you know, a shadow.

I've said for a while Guida has some of the craziest cardio of any fighter on the roster but its constantly overlooked because people dont like his fights.

100% agree. People who have never trained before will discount his footwork and think it doesn't tax much. Truth is most people can't even do that for a round here let alone for 3 or 5 rounds plus everything else that happens in a fight.

Truely amazing.

I think the best cardio has to go to Bisping. The guy doesn't even seem to work hard; the cardio just comes naturally. He's talked of binge drinking and not training, yet still being able to spar at a high pace. Considering his size, over 200 LBs, in a weight class that most fighters gas, Middleweight, I think his cardio rates higher than the Diaz brothers and Guida, who are smaller and train regularly.
