Classless Robert Whittaker happy Darren Till needs surgery

Honestly, I think Jon Jones is bad for the sport. Because when he fights people, he injures us. He kicked my knee backwards. My knee is never the same. He's done that to a couple other guys. I saw him rip one guy's shoulder out of the socket. We're just trying to do the same thing he's trying to do: earn a living and do the sport that we love.

even Rampage doesn't approve,this kick is very dirty and deserves to be banned.

This is coming from a guy who has no problem slamming people on their heads or continuously punching a ko'ed fighter.

Other fighters had complained about those kicks for years now but nothing has been done by the commission

The common TMA (Karate, TKD, Kung Fu) technique that used to be shunned by MMA fans because "it won't work in a real fight". Let's ban it so that narrative can be re-established. :D Later we can ban hip throws so more ppl can shit on Judo.

Till wants them banned now huh?

Thompson complained about Till's use of it after their fight and Till responded.

“I saw the interview did,” Till told MTKGlobal in a recent interview of his own. “If he wants leg kicks banned, why don’t we ban spinning head-kicks to the face while we’re at it?

“I was not trying to hurt his knee. I was trying to deaden his leg to stop him using it. That was my strategy. I know he’s had surgery on his left knee and I was not trying to cause him another injury in that area but this is a fight and we’re in the most brutal sport in the world. In my opinion, you can’t really come out and say you want this thing banned or that thing banned.”

Did you even watch the video?

The reporter literally says right after "He was joking".

That slam he did on bader was dangerous af. Almost spiked him right on his head /neck

He definitely didn't say anything like that. You should get dubs for trolling.

good, they should be allowed. Technically didn't even kick him in the knee, kicked him right above it.

I get its a fight but I don’t like those kicks. I’d happily see them banned tbh

Pretty sure Till is joking about wanting them banned.

The sport that turns your brain into mush until you murder your wife, is worried about knee injuries. Get fucked.

According to Professor Rudy Castellani;

"It's difficult to put it into words how ridiculous that is".

Timestamped;

I think pretty much any other respected Neuroscientist would say the same thing.

The only Doctor who I have heard who would make that comparison is Bennet Omalu who is a pariah in the Neuroscience world;

He said he wants them banned JOKING, its pretty clearly in the audio?

Funny how people are fine with Ariane Lipski fucking up that one girl's knee with a kneebar, but a sidekick to the knee is just sooooo wrong. :p
I actually feel it's the other way arround. This kick doesn't botter me, while Lipski clearly wanted to hurt her opponent with that kneebar

You can tap and save your joint. No, they should not be banned.
You can barely tap on time? Usually the damage is done pretty much as soon as the kneebar is conpleted (depending on the viciousness of your opponent). Many Jiu Jitsu gyms don't even train them to pupils ,cause the risk of damage is very high.

Ps. Not saying they should be banned,but don't think you can tap out easily if you have an opponent who instantly overstreches you knee or heel.
