I Agree that The 5th should go to gane as hugging shouldn't award point and it's not like frank took him down if i remember correctly gane took him down and francis hit a sweept (could be mis remembering) but after that sweep francis held on for deer life.

It wasn't a sweep, Gane went for a heel hook. He had done it before on many fights. Horrible mistake and basically lost the fight because of it.

All Gane had to do was not go for the leg lock. So close, but he did lose.

I do think Gane with some more wrestling experience will be better than Ngannou. It's an unfortunate thing because it's like if Stipe retired or left the UFC before rematching Ngannou.

He was clipped hard af against Tai. I couldn't believe how bad he was caught, but it's heavy weight so anything can happen. I think his major holes is his grappling which Jones or Blaydes would be a better test for that.
