That's a push kick, not a front kick. They both strike with the ball of the foot, but the difference is that the push kick starts with the knee being raised followed by the standing leg straightening to allow the hips to thrust forward, and it travels directly forward in a straight line. A front kick starts with the heel being raised to your butt (not sure how else to describe it) and is more of an upward strike.

On topic... my GOD is it nice to see JDS look to set up the overhand right by jabbing again.

That was one hell of a punch for sure, Rothwell has a real chin. Most heavies probably would have crumpled after getting hit like that.

I can't imagine this happening to a guy like Ben on the street by an average person.

This is one reason why Like this sport....these people show that its not that easy to just go in there and fight.
