Damn didn't expect this. Seemed she did a complete 180, got her life together and was doing much better.
I had the exact opposite impression.
I felt she was just on the Celebrity Slow Train Wreck series of "rehabs" and "recoveries", which were just PR and wishful thinking, followed by the inevitable public demonstration that none of it was real.
I have no malice towards her at all. I think a lot of her life was a real shame. However, I also think she was one of those people who was so hopelessly messed up that she was never, ever going to get any better and feel good about herself and her life, and seeing as such, it's probably for the best that the struggle ended sooner, rather than later.
