I'm not saying Chuck would win, but stylistically I think he would have given Jon Jones more trouble than a lot of the people Jones has fought.

I don't think Chuck would have been scared to stand and trade with Jon Jones. When you re-watch Jon Jones fights against Rashad Evans, Vitor Belfort, Rampage Jackson etc. it's like they just stood in front of Jones and played the role of a punching bag. None of them made any serious attempts at offense because they were so petrified and stunned by Jones reach.

I think the combination of Chuck's Take-Down Defense, and willingness to try and knock his opponent out would have led to a lot more competitive match-up for Jon Jones than a lot of these other guys. Probably similar to the Gustaffson VS Jones bout, but with a much higher chance of Jones actually getting KO'd.

Nah, Jones stomps chuck

Jones has torn through a who's who of guys who made Chuck go to sleep.

Likely Chuck. He was an animal in his prime, can't see Jones taking one of his bombs at all.

Batman would beat superman. These conversations are stupid.

Chuck gets smashed, easy question.

Also I wholeheartedly believe Chuck wins. Overhand right special.

I think Jones would have put Chuck on his back and bully him the way Randy did in their first fight. I don't think Chuck would be able to find his range with his right hand, Jones would probably use his kicks to keep him away. And we all know Chuck ain't taking anyone down so Jones wouldn't have to worry about takedowns of his kicks.

I see Jones literally walking through him. Chuck would have nothing for him.
Jones would pick him apart from what seemed like 10 feet away, take him down, and grab a limb.

I said Chuck in his prime. Not Chuck on his way out the door. Once Chuck lost his chin he wasn't the same fighter.

Rampage beat him twice in his prime. He was favored against Rashad and had just beat Wand. Shogun is the only fight (of their common opponents) you can reasonably say Chuck was on his way out.
