Chris Weidman Reacts To Gastelum Title Shot, Wants Romero or Rockhold Rematch Next

I think weidman-jacare is the obvious fight. if not jacare, david branch and paulo costa are solid options. as weidman recognizes in the video, both romero and rockhold are likely moving up to 205
 
Not sure why gastelum got the nod over weidman, weidman did man handle him

Lol salty Weidman. That's what he gets for his inactivity. He thought he would sit back and they would just hand him a title shot based on being 1-3 and not having fought in a year.

Pretty sure Jacare and Branch verbally agreed to fight. Would like to see him fight Costa or Rockhold before he goes up to LHW

Since beating Gastelum, Weidman hasn't done anything except not lose a fourth fight in a row. Meanwhile, Kelvin has won two fights and wasn't coming into the fight with Weidman on a loss. Just because one guy beat another doesn't automatically mean they get a shot beforehand.
 
The Chris is ducking Costa. Costa has called him out after his win over Hall, step on up Weidman.

Maybe you should got back and look at their records recently overall.
Weidman has one win, whether it’s over kelvin is not really enough imo.
This could work out well for Weidman if kelvin wins, he has a clear shot at winning the title again.
 
Romero and Rockhold would tear his ass up again. If it wasnt for welterweight kelvin who didnt want to give up them twinkies he would be 0-4 since his last win in may 2015.

yeah. weidman-costa would be a sick fight. I think he could possibly be the most dangerous option for weidman
 
For the first time ever I agree with Weidman. He should fight Romero or Rockhold.

And get his ass kicked again <Lmaoo>
 
Damn it took Chris at least a year to recover from the Cuban missile. Notice he now looks normal and no longer cross-eyed like he was for the longest time after the Romero KO.. If he fights Romero and gets KTFO again I'm afraid he might go full retard.
 
Weidman just needs fights. Beat some cans, go on a streak.
