Chris Weidman 'can 100 percent see' UFC releasing him with loss, 'not really worried about it'

I like Weidman but he needs to call it quits. The way hes losing is not healthy and has a very very short shelflife. You cant comeback from all those KO and TKO loses in a row and contend for a title.

I actually hope Weidman beats Hall so he then he can be badly hurt by Cannonier or Costa.

If Uriah does connect it could be bad. For both of them actually. I don’t think Uriah ever recovered from tuf.

Chris obviously plateaued at a much higher level than Hall did.

But I think Hall has aged much better than Weidman has. I think this fight is even at best for Weidman now. Weidman has basically fallen off of a cliff. Hall, not so much.

I wouldn't want to bet on this fight, but if I had to, I'd take Hall.

Anyone else wish the UFC keeps Weidman just to keep seeing him getting brutally finished? LOL

I don’t want to see him take more CTE, but I think this is why it makes more sense to keep him than Romero.

Romero will keep finishing contenders and Dana wants him nowhere near a title shot. At least you can feed Weidman as a big name to hype an up and comer .

I just cannot see Chris Weidman beating Uriah Hall. I think it's just past time for him to go.... he was good once upon a time but there's only so long you can ride a wave of "I beat Anderson Silva twice".

Chris is a very nice dude, but I think this next fight should definitely be his last UFC fight. Unless he does something AMAZING during that fight (And I cannot really see that).

Lol at being a world class fighter being enough to stay in the UFC. Romero is still top 5 and that wasn't enough. It's about how cheap you are to the UFC. It's about how much they can exploit you.
