Tomorrow night Chris Lewis makes his pro debut at Bellator 156. I have seen this guy fight as an amateur here in CA and he is a beast. He comes from the same camp that produces top level strikers such as Billy Evangelista who fought in Strikeforce. The guy is a former D-1 football player having played Defensive End at Fresno State. He was also a freestyle wrestling national champ back in high school. I'm calling it now this guy will be a HW champ in Bellator!

Nice hopfully theybuid him up nicely and keep him around!

He's legit. Can't wait to see his debut tomorrow.

Hopefully Bellator signs him to a long term contract after he demolishes his opponent.

That would be the smart move. Hopefully Coker recognizes his talent.

Solid name, but fortune could stand in his way. Bellator making solid pick ups

a lot of d-1 athletes have failed maybe he won't....

True, but if they build him the right way he will be Champ. I don't expect him to win it right away but I can see it happening within the next 2 years.

Also a lot of D-1 football players don't have his wrestling pedigree nor have trained their standup at a reputable striking camp.
