He was landing clean, Curtis was giving him easy strikes to land rushing in on him like that, Diaz/Condit is a good comparison. I wouldn't put it as Starnes tier, but he did really back up most the fight. Will say Curtis could've tried to counter those kicks and jabs from Hermasson better too. I'm a big fan of fighters that pressure because it opens them up to the most risks. Curtis landed his left once in the last round, but he really had nothing for Hermasson.but hermansson wasn't running, he was landing the whole time he was moving, he was peppering him the entire fight and the shit was landing. guys like kampmann used to do that all the time, it's the style sometimes. i mean it's one thing if the opponent is moving backwards and doing nothing, but not if he's hitting you as he's doing it.
this kinda reminds me of the diaz / condit fight. and yeah, diaz 1 4 5, or whatever the hell they always say.
