He was landing clean, Curtis was giving him easy strikes to land rushing in on him like that, Diaz/Condit is a good comparison. I wouldn't put it as Starnes tier, but he did really back up most the fight. Will say Curtis could've tried to counter those kicks and jabs from Hermasson better too. I'm a big fan of fighters that pressure because it opens them up to the most risks. Curtis landed his left once in the last round, but he really had nothing for Hermasson.

Jack showed that he was willing to learn from that fight, Curtis thought he was going run through him , he wasn't prepared and had no answer to Jack keeping it at range

well sean doesnt have a stellar footwork himself,he just walks you down to strike with you so him being a training partner didnt really help curtis to prepare for somebody so diverse as jack

Lol , forgot about Chito. Strickland is funny because he had a horrible game plan himself and Alex landed the most feared left hook in the sport.

Yeah Strickland was actually a good sport about it. They're a bunch of meatheads though.

Jack fought like a Top 15 fighter displaying the higher level and Curtis fought like an unranked fighter.

Simple as that.

If that's his outlook, he should be cut. Never gonna be anything if you need a guy to fight a certain way for you to have a chance of winning.

He should look in the mirror the next time he flips the middle finger up. He should be embarrassed by his own performance more than anything else.

What point? He didn't have the striking game and footwork to hang with Jack. All he was hoping for, was to catch Jack with a power punch. In order to manage that, Jack would have to stand in front of him without moving. Jack fought beautifully and smart. He was not running away, he was moving and (unlike Chris) was actually striking and hitting the target..
 
Curtis you were losing and got rocked on the feet ffs. It's not like Jack ever turned his back and literally ran away from you. I guess side to side was too hard to figure out.

Imagine Jack bitching because Curtis stuffed his takedowns and wouldn't commit to a wrestling match with him.
