Godfather
Godfather 2
Braveheart
Schindler's List
Unforgiven
Platoon
Rocky
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Silence of the Lambs
Terms of Endearment

Fuck me... I'm supposed to choose 10?

Funny how there ain't shit from the cancel culture decade, though

Can't help but be that guy... but... There's only one list of 'best picture-oscar winning' movies.

There are different ways to read the wording of the command in the thread title.

In fact, reading it as a proper sentence means not limiting yourself to best picture winners.

I can tell you the worst one...

Abe Frohman is the sausage king of it.

Fair enough, although the list itself explains the wording... but it's whatever, i have a damn tough time picking the 10 best from all those movies any way you look at it

Yeah pretty much everything but Chicago I'll gladly watch again. I had to leave some great movies out of the ten I picked.

I would have this spell...

1978 - "Annie Hall"
1977 - "Rocky"
1976 - "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest"
1975 - "The Godfather Part II"
1974 - "The Sting"
1973 - "The Godfather"
1972 - "The French Connection"
"

Plus Return of the King, Amadeus and No Country For Old Men.

Honestly that list is pretty depressing after the 70's, very few great films on it IMHO. I'd say the Palme d'Or holds up better, my 10 best from that since 1970...

The Conversation
Taxi Driver
Apoc Now
Paris Texas
Wild At Heart
Barton Fink
Pulp Fiction
Taste of Cherry
4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days
Blue is the Warmest Colour

Best pictures?? Is this the academy or something

la la land should have won instead of moonlight that year.

that was a disgraceful robbery.

the departed and american beauty are the best.

then comes what ever you want in what ever order.

From that list, the last movie I saw was 2010's Hurt Locker and it was fucking awful.

Yeah definitely among the lesser Best Picture winners. I wouldn't say awful, but as far as Bigelow goes, I prefer Point Break.

Raquel Welch in the 1970s. Great picture.
