Because not much happened in his last fight but a big boom,
Choi is confident he can fight another bout this year.
He happens to be digging the Cub/Kawajiri winner, but Cub will not want another top 15 on his foretold winning streak. And he is the higher ranked, and definitely will not want to be a stepping stone.

Swanson usually comes out of a fight badly banged up - especially both hands which he must have broken or cracked a bone in them multiple times.
