i do the same. I swear the meat used to be good. I don't know if it varies from location to location more or what.i find all their meat really overcooked and frankly kinda disgusting. giant wads of fat in the barbacoa, steak cooked well done, chicken so overcooked it's fucking charred and like chewing rubber. maybe it's just the ones in my area and they really fuckin suck i dunno.
i get vegetarian dishes now to avoid it, and they are fairly good. their rice is good, tasty guac and sour cream. i'll go there if my friends do or it's super convenient, but i won't go out of my way for it.
I used to eat there at least once a week. Haven't been there since this shit started happening. I like to cook though so I learned how to make barbacoa and now I can eat a Barbacoa burrito for about $1.50 instead of $8.50they have a terrible record for food poisonings, it is a filthy place at chipotle.

Everything there is cooked, packaged, shipped, and re-heated which I find off putting.
Is it? I see them grilling chicken thighs there whenever I go. I guess it’s been a while since I’ve been there.
Well, those dudes are retards.I recall reading somewhere it was the new protocol after one of the food born illness outbreaks. Gave them more control over making sure the food was cooked to temp. I never go anymore so I can't say 100%.
I've worked with some reality celebs who, even when they could get lunch brought to them from anywhere in LA, chose chipotle a few times a week and were bestowed a golden chipotle card by the company which grants a lifetime of free food.
