In some small town, either the owner of this restaurant or his son told 4 deputy sheriffs, who were having lunch there, that they were no longer welcome because the customers didn't want to eat near cops. Turns out that was the wrong move.

Misunderstanding, move on.

Not sure if this was a misunderstanding or not but if it was they will have a long way to go to fix it.

If they said it they have the right to say it but with that comes consequences.

However anyone threatening them with physical violence needs to be arrested.

Looks like they are doing the Wok of shame now

Apologize, make amends, and move on. I'd hate to see his business and family suffer, whether it was intentional or a misunderstanding.

my guess is that the kid got a little too riled up from the internet and his father made gave him a talk about how there are consequences to your actions.

I think you could be right.

It's incredibly stupid. I mean, that restaurant is in the middle of a stereotypical wholesome looking neighborhood. You could only get away with something like that in a more urban or hipster area.

pfft.

millennials.

LOL how are any of you calling this a misunderstanding? What does "don't eat here anymore because you're cops; you're not welcome; go spread the word to other cops that they aren't welcome here either" sound similar to that it could have been lost in translation? Did he mean to say "here's your change, gentlemen" but accidentally went on an anti-police rant? Lol...that punk isn't sorry about what he said at all, he's just sorry he got in trouble for it. Like I said, deportation.

My roommate is Chinese and police. He said that "don't eat here anymore" is in fact close sounding in Mandarin for "here's your change gentleman". Pork and police are easily mixed up with a foreign speaker also.

*some or all of the comments in this post may be fictitious.

Aha! Aha! But the native language of most Chinese restaurant owners is Cantonese, not Mandarin!

I dated a Japanese girl who spoke Cantonese. But, does that make sense? She always said I never paid attention. She's a doctor now and married someone of Russian descent who probably listens better.

Shrewd business move. Cop free zone = lots of new customers from the black community. Kid's a business genius.

He can refuse patrons if he wants .

they got nothin out of the son when they went to interview him.... did they not freakin ask him any more questions? because the way it stands, it seems hard to imagine it was a misunderstanding simply due to language barrier.

also, the restaurant is called lucky teriyaki. theres no way its actually good anyway.

What people are going to learn is, that all of these douches like BLM and SJWs and other leftists are all a VERY LOUD ANNOYING MINORITY, but this country still predominantly has good regular ass people and they will start getting loud.
All SJWs deserve a hard beating and perhaps tentacle sex.
