I like like Chimaev and down for it if he proves it.
But it really seems as if the UFC is just trying to use this guy for promotion a replacement Khabib-lite for the new age fans.

Chimaev has done what he's had to do to win against the opponents in front of him, the Leon fight is going to finally show us exactly if hes being rushed too fast, or if he's right where he needs to be. Worst case scenario he loses and then we'll have to see him fight a Top 10 guy, then Top 5 and build him up again, but if he beats Edwards, then the sky's the limit and we didnt have to wait 2 years to get this guy to the place he is already at.

Damn, Gunnar got a lot of clinches and was landing takedowns and got into mount. Khamzat gonna take him for a ride if he gets the clinch.
 
Him not even remembering getting hit is not a good thing. He better do some rough sparring and hope he's got a good chin because I can see him getting sparked in the near future if this is the case.

- They see my confidence and how I win my fights. People say I've beaten cans, ok they were cans, but even if you fight a random guy of the street, he'll still land 1,2,3 hits on you, but these guys didn't land on me at all. They say, they landed 2 strikes on me, but I don't even remember them landing anything.

This is why I'm favourite. If you put Edwards agains the guys I fought, do you think he would win without taking any shots? Of course no. But I won like that, that's why I'm considered favourite.

- Hardest punches he ever received was from Gustafsson. Got caught with an uppercut and had a bloody nose.

Q: About blood, Edwards is known for cutting people with his elbows. What do you think about it?

- Not long. I wouldn't even have to wrestle him. He's a small guy, 66 kg, I wouldn't need wrestling. If we fought I would knock him out standing. I'm bigger, taller, stronger and faster than him. He has nothing for me, so I don't think he'd fight me.

Other stuff

- He writes his own social media pages, not Abdelaziz.
- Feel comfortable in both WW and MW.
- When fighting MW I only cut 2 kg (4 punds) I eat all I want and fight for fun. WW I have to diet, but I like it as well.
- Khamzat enjoys weight cutting process. He doesn't cut so much weight.
- Khamzat is training with swedish olympic boxing coach. He's progressing well in striking.
- Has a strong right hand. KOs HWs in sparring gloves.
- Khamzat watches a lot of boxing. Likes GGG, likes Floyd technically. Liked Kostya Tzyu.
- Khamzat is a TJ Dillashaw fan, likes his technique. Wants to fight in his style.
- From heavier weight classes likes Gustafsson, one of the best boxers in MMA. He's injured now, but will come back.
- Met Jon Jones. JJ came to him and asked for photo. He said that he wants a picture before you become champion.
- Started watching MMA after a Fedor fight vs Randleman. Remembers that suplex, after he saw that fight he started watching MMA.
- Saw all Fedor fights.
- When it comes to wrestling, Khamzat was a Saitiev fan and strived to be like him.
- When it comes to wrestling for MMA, Khabib is best. He has ideal technique.
- Khamzat usually picks upp his opponents and carries him over to his corner. 2 reasons for that, so he can listen to his coach and so opponent doesn't hear his corner.

About Adesanya
- Adesanya is a comfortable opponent for Khamzat.
- Nobody tried to wrestle him and he is not a wrestler.
- He might defend 1-2-3 takedowns. If you get him a little tired, you can take him down.
- He is a great striker, but this is not karate.
- He would outstrike me, but if I combine striking and my wrestling I will neutralise his striking.
